Found your website through KCdog magazine which we have just received.
Well done, someone needs to speak up for our dogs!!!
We also clean up after our dogs and like them to run free to get the exercise they need, it is the irresponsible 'dog owners' that are causing these restrictions to happen - not the 'dog lovers'.

I exercise my dog in the ********* area. She is not exercised on a lead and as she is a Border Collie needs to run free. I always pick up after my dog, but unfortunately there are many that don't, giving us a bad name. I disagree with the talks of restrictions, but can appreciate that where there are childrens play areas it is of course necessary. Anyway I support your best efforts.

Dog Walkers are the people who use these ammenities everyday and therefore in our opinion, are the guardians of the Parks and Open Spaces. Most days we find broken glass on the footpaths and beer cans thrown into the hedgerows, which we clear up. Also we report any signs of vandalism to the appropriate authorities. We also know that there are those dog owners who do not clear up after their dogs, but the ban on dogs in Parks will not bother them, just us responsible dog walkers.

I am a dog groomer in northampton, I am spreading the word to all of my customers from Milton Keynes to Raunds. I have a dog my self and he will never get the full amount of running that he needs being kept on a lead. England will turn in to a country of over weight animals, with behavioural problems from lack of socialisation if this new act comes in, have they thought of that!!
